First Visit
During your first visit, you can expect the following:
- You will have a private consultation with Dr. Pruyn to let him know what your goals and objectives are. He will give you a clear picture of how he can help and his recommendations for care.
- After the consultation, Dr. Pruyn will perform a complete and comprehensive wellness examination consisting of movement, orthopedic, functional neurological and chiropractic assessments.
- X-rays may be taken to allow Dr. Pruyn to clearly determine a proper care plan. They provide him with an objective diagnostic tool that will show the position of the spinal bones, as well as the quality of the disc and spinal health and safety of adjusting it.
- Your first treatment.
Please allow 1 hour for your first visit.
Second Visit
During this visit, Dr. Pruyn will present his report of findings. The report includes a detailed analysis of what you need in order to solve the problem that brought you into our office and what can be done to assure that it won’t happen again. You will also receive an adjustment. This appointment usually lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Regular Visits
Dr. Pruyn will monitor your progress on a visit-to-visit basis. Correction of spinal alignment and stability will be the focus of these appointments.
During the course of care, Dr. Pruyn may also offer stretching and/or strengthening exercise instructions. These activities will compliment the benefits of your ongoing chiropractic treatment. These visits typically last 30 minutes.
